Prayers are needed....

After many tests, my mom got results back. She was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. She is in the early stages. Please keep her and our family in your prayers as she goes through this.
I am sure that a phone call would help boost her spirits today.
Much love to you all!

YoU aRe All InViTeD!!!

On September 5th, Shawn and I, along with our boys will be sealed in the Denver Temple FOREVER!!!! I am so excited, I cannot even tell you! You are all invited of course! We have waited for this day to arrive for a long, long time! I know it is short notice, but we really want our families to be here with us. So please! If you can manage it, please come and join us! IF you are not a recommend holder right now, that is okay too! Party at our house after! :)
Shawn will take out his own endowments on Friday evening (the day before). If you would like to come for that too, then we would love that too! I will send out announcements, but please let me know if you can make it soon! The temple needs an approximate count so they know which room to put us in. Love you all! Let us know!

If any of you are interested....

It is that time again, Chris is once again giving his fireside on his experience in Kolob, at Troy's ward Wednesday August 5th at 7:00 pm.  It is located about 11500 South and 1000 East.  We have just had many of you ask about it so we thought we would let you know.
FYI, this is just a picture from Britlynn Rylee's blessing.  It is actually the best one we could get since Cade was quite sick and Savera did not want to cooperate.  But we think it is pretty cute of our little B!
Let us know if you have any questions.

Joke....(no it is not an April fools joke!)

The Obedient Wife

There was a man who had worked all of his life, had saved all of his money, and was a real miser when it came to his money. Just before he died, he said to his wife, "When I die, I want you to take all my money and put it in the casket with me. I want to take my money to the afterlife with me." And so he got his wife to promise him with all of her heart that when he died she would put all of the money in the casket with him.

Well, he died. He was stretched out in the casket, his wife was sitting there in black, and her friend was sitting next to her. When they finished the ceremony, just before the undertakers got ready to close the casket, the wife said, "Wait just a minute!" She had a box with her, she came over with the box and put it in the casket. Then the undertakers locked the casket down and they rolled it aw ay .

So her friend said, "Girl, I know you weren't fool enough to put all that money in there with your husband."

The loyal wife replied "Listen, I'm a Christian; I can't go back on my word. I promised him that I was going to put that money in that casket with Him."

"You mean to tell me you put that money in the casket with him!!!!?"

"I sure did," said the wife. "I got it all together, put it into my account and wrote him a check. If he can cash it, he can spend it."
